Phase 3: Federation Protocol

Implement read-only federated queries:

  • QUERY message structure and validation
  • Response streaming for large results
  • Provenance tagging on all responses
  • Error handling and timeouts

Deliverables

  • QUERY message handler
  • Response format with provenance
  • Streaming support for large datasets
  • Query timeout configuration
  • Rate limiting per connection
