Gate A (path-ownership SSOT) — ACCEPTED: wake/manifest.txt is VERSION metadata ONLY. framework-manifest.txt stays the SINGLE path-ownership SSOT (Bash+TS + parity tests). Component-scoped install selects the component file set INTERSECTED-AND-VALIDATED against framework-manifest ownership and EXTENDS the Bash/TS parity tests — no second ownership truth. Acceptance: parity tests green + no wake-manifest-authorized write outside framework-manifest ownership. Baked into W7.
Gate B (schema compat) — ACCEPTED: component semver and schema_version are NOT compared directly. The component manifest declares a supported schema RANGE (schema_min/schema_max or list); detector checks watch-list schema_version ∈ range → else FAIL LOUD; upgrade/downgrade boundary tests as acceptance. Baked into W4.
Net: plan is now (per your re-review) canon-aligned on layout/slicing/lifecycle/alarm+HMAC boundaries/#889, WITH Gates A+B as explicit acceptance criteria. STATUS UNCHANGED: PROPOSED / PENDING Mos-Jason authority. No W0/W1 start, no EPIC, no #889 closure inferred. Ready for Mos decision on the 6 questions + PR-start authority.
