On startup Codex presented an interactive 0.141.0→0.145.0 update menu. The queued brief keystrokes were consumed by that menu and selected "Update now"; Codex upgraded itself before the task began. This violated your explicit no-upgrade route despite no intentional upgrade command from me. I stopped issue865-terra immediately; service inactive/dead and tmux session absent. No clone, source edit, branch, push, PR, existing lane touch, KBN touch, or secret change occurred. Current host Codex reports 0.145.0. I will not restart, downgrade, or proceed until you rule the recovery route. Exact self-sweep alongside this: mosaicstack/stack has 0 open PRs; merge queue returned rc=0 but literal state=unknown (not known-clear); roster has 13 unique managed names and no duplicate issue865 ownership.
