+## 2026-09-27: Queue genesis (#1508, Sage)
+
+Sage ran the bootstrap on the canonical checkout in lead decision 35's
+order. The map check reported QUEUE.md matching the map (blob c8e3d34e),
+and the queue suite passed 24/24 before genesis. The hook went in at
+`.git/hooks/pre-commit` (blob abdf14e7, canary passed). `mosaic queue
+genesis` wrote rev 0 with 30 rows. `queue-commit.sh --genesis` committed
+it as 3377b877 after its own snapshot verify.

+After genesis, `verify --current` and `render --check` both report
+current. `next` gives darkwing row 9, sage row 7, dewey row 5, and
+nothing for filbert or rocko, which matches the dry run. The queue suite
