+- Before: stack-release.sh read drop-ins and units without refusing unreadable or quoted ones, didn't recheck the bus after a held read, and gated on the live copy. After: 4b738e2da refuses those, rechecks is-active, and checks against $COPIES/$ID. Patch-id 7a4fdc3bf53b equals build.patch's.
