Installer replaced ~/.claude/settings.json, CLAUDE.md (+2 more) and recorded backup: null in the manifest. Harmless greenfield, destructive on any machine with a configured stock Claude. Supporting evidence for the ruled direction (Jason 2026-08-08): stock ~/.claude is to be LEFT ALONE; framework files live in ~/.config/mosaic only. Found by greenfield install test on fomo-lin (Debian 13, node 20.19.2, framework v3, CLI 0.0.49, installed from main). Full log: branch greenfield/fomo-lin, docs/reports/greenfield/fomo-lin.md. Reported by scooby, triaged by fred.
