Jason explicitly requested completion of the local repository conversion on 2026-09-07 and confirmed no other work is active. Target: /mnt/storage/src/mosaic-stack with new foundation at root, legacy v1 under v1/, local refactor branch and origin mosaicstack/stack. Preserve both Git histories, pending work, hidden/local files and external rollback snapshots. Verify exact copied content, approved inspector identities, Git object integrity and offline checks. No push, merge, live deployment or runtime-state changes in this local cutover. Prior inspector A9 acceptance remains pending. Coordinator: darkwing. Plan: docs/plans/2026-09-07_repository-consolidation-assessment.md in the v2 source.

Local conversion completed and verified at commit 127a54fdff on refactor. Canonical /mnt/storage/src/mosaic-stack now contains the new foundation at root and exact legacy source under v1/. Origin is mosaicstack/stack. Old ~/src/mosaic-stack-dev-test is a compatibility symlink, not a second working tree. Both histories retained as merge parents (v2 9a5fbdbd, v1 5d277000), all v1 refs archived, v2 refs retained. Exact v1 Git subtree verified: 3507 tracked files. Verified external backups retained. All original pending/local work preserved; only archival tree and four conversion docs committed; index clean. Checks: Node 80/0, selftests 43/0, oracle 1568/zero disagreements, checker PASS, config/auth/conductor 24/15/17; postcommit conductor 17/0 and four demo cases pass. Approved 382-file inspector/pins unchanged. Git fsck/alias/parent/tree checks pass. Task/release NOT RUN/DEFERRED; no v1 or live deployment tests. No push or PR/trunk merge: this issue explicitly tracks local filesystem/Git cutover, not remote publication.
