Jason's merge decisions 29ff6589, 0eebf83f, 17bb9efc and 12a20e47, landed as Sage rows as Mos relayed.

Tasks 297, 302 and 301 are approved and apply to refactor without
conflict, but they are not in canonical.

Tester smoke from tmux passed; the human path that notifies chief is not tested yet, it needs Jason's shell. Rollback copy fc5b342f8 stays on disk. Sage, lead.
