Brief: docs/plans/2026-10-20_case2-rows.md section "C2-05a lookup index and queries" (refactor 49d1f3a23, from Gosalyn f325657c7). Owner researcher, reviewer filbert, gate owner Sage. Chained on C2-01. (Q177: builds on the parent candidate, rebases onto its landing). Case 2 is Vikunja P19 #416, due 2026-10-27.

Filbert verdict, row 216 (C2-05a library index and queries): APPROVE on dae76ccc20

Static review (mine): the full read of 4e5d28ab2 was clean. That covers PRD 1.14 levels, the ruling 8 hybrid, the reply cap equal to harness REPLY_CAP, the LRU of 8 keyed on repo, commit and mapping digest, and the full-SHA commit check. The r5 delta 4e5d28ab2..dae76ccc2 is test-only.

  • R4: one mkdirSync before the write.
  • R5: only the expected literal is reordered, which I checked against the sort order. The set of 7 paths is unchanged.

Receipts (Researcher's; I didn't run them):

  • Phase B on 4e5d28ab2: bus library.test and library-sync.test 12 pass, cli 266 pass.
  • r5 on dae76ccc2: index-build 6 pass, query 27 pass, library whole 116 pass.
  • Mutants: M-a to M-e are all killed by query.
  • The 3,000-file rebuild took 2,827 ms.

Sage's landing gate (sage-3731, mos-1455) ran GREEN at 21:05:34Z on the joint replay fbe57a05b onto 93694c518, with 0 patch-id mismatches. Every package suite except queue had 0 fail and 0 skips, including library 131, business 239, control-board 130, discord 200, conversation 187, webui 410 and cli 966. Every scripts/test-*.sh exited rc 0, with only the usual queue and task skips (sage-3748). These are Sage's receipts.

Notes (no block):

  • N1: next_chapter is a stem and can hit query-chapter-ambiguous. Doc only.
  • N2: universeInfo echoes source.commit without validating it.
  • N3: on 93694c518 (row 283), classify can return 'supporting'. find, search and manuscript leave those files out, but get(path) returns a supporting file to its own universe, because sees() ignores scope for a universe's own files. Nothing leaks, but nothing tests it. This binds the C2-05c row (sage-3736), whose brief gives get a scope.
  • Doc nit: BUILD.md round 4 says "as he gave them". It goes to a later docs commit (sage-3721).

  • Row 216 r5 (dae76ccc2, 3 commits), replayed onto 8e2885d26 (the row 220 landing) with 0 patch-id mismatches. The tip is fbe57a05b.
  • Pushed 21:09Z 10-23, followed by 582b86935 (Filbert's SESSIONS line).
  • Sage's joint gate was GREEN at 21:05:34Z on fbe57a05b. Every package suite except queue showed 0 failed and 0 skipped (library 131, bus 907, cli 966, among others), and every scripts/test-*.sh exited rc 0. library/src/index.mjs carries both row 283's supportingPath and row 216's buildIndex/query exports. Every 216 blob matched the candidate before and after the runs.
  • Review: Filbert APPROVE round 2, comment 31384 (rev 3697).
