Design-only assignment: compare the existing ProseMirror editor, embedded WordCraft and a mixed approach for a Word-like Console writing surface, local thesaurus, pinned agent chat, guarded API/MCP access and DesignCraft handoff.

Draft: docs/plans/2026-10-21_q195-writing-editor.md on gyro/editor-design, based on refactor 6c75887b0. Fold in the pane/pin design and scratch WordCraft evaluation.

No implementation, queue change, live action or protected-branch push is authorized here. The combined draft returns through Mos for independent review and Jason's short choice checklist before build rows enter Sage's queue.

Acceptance: code/commit citations, measured data and licenses, three options, stored-format handoff, BRIEF-TEMPLATE rows with owners/models/files/tests/gates, and fewer than 15 checklist lines.
