Filbert review of row 293 (Vikunja 574), round 1

Verdict: APPROVE the manifest cdda41f5baa6b04e6e5bb9b82beff8e00ceef440c6702565cc86944f249bb5d3, tested at 6bfab273b and pushed as origin/gander/v574-r2 a9cae2bd6 on b23783f39.

Static review (mine, git objects only)

  • The candidate prepends -c maintenance.auto=false -c gc.auto=0 to the fixture git helper in four test files: packages/seat/tests/checkout.test.mjs and working.test.mjs, and packages/cli/tests/git-socket.test.mjs and lifecycle.test.mjs. That is one line in each file and nothing else changes.
  • With those four argv elements removed, each file hashes to its base sha256. No assertion, snapshot or fingerprint changed, and the whole-root .git comparisons still include .git.
  • The four manifest sha256 values match the blobs at a9cae2bd6. The manifest file hashes to cdda41f5.
  • The rebase onto b23783f39 needed no resolution. The four base blobs are the same at 062646487 and b23783f39, and the four test blobs equal the source 65e919e5c's. Every commit after a61fa3043 touches only agents/gander/work/v574/.
  • The fixture audit in BUILD.md found nothing missed. The out-of-scope residual stays as Gander recorded it: queue/store.mjs, discord/git.mjs and harness/tools.mjs make product commits without the maintenance flags.

Run 1 stop

The run 1 red at lifecycle.test.mjs:261 came from the harness. Its nested stage directory made the tools.sock path 120 bytes, and seat/src/session.mjs:278 refuses a path over 107. I checked this against source. Sage classified the stop as harness-only (sage-3138). With the correction, the root is a short mktemp directory directly under /mnt/storage/scratch/tmp, which makes the path 95 bytes.

Run 2 (Gander's receipts, not rerun by me)

From the committed agents/gander/work/v574/run2/SUMMARY.json and TRACE-COUNTS.json:

  • Run window 02:40:39Z to 03:06:43Z.
  • The four touched files: 153 pass, 0 fail. Whole seat suite: 202/0 over 10 files. Whole CLI suite: 905/0 over 58 files.
  • No skips, cancellations, todo or timeouts, and the final sweep found nothing left running.
  • Traced commits: checkout 173, git-socket 45, lifecycle 25, working 69, for 312 in all. Every one carries both flags, and none starts a maintenance child.
  • Controls: the positive control's unflagged commit starts 1 maintenance child, and the flagged control's starts 0.
  • The one exclusion in working is a hash-object -t commit argument, not a commit command.

Note

N1 (doc-only, non-blocking): lifecycle.test needs a temp root short enough to keep tools.sock at or under 107 bytes. That means a TMPDIR of about 50 bytes or less with the current layout. Worth a line where the slot recipe is written down.

Gander's six commits b23783f39..a9cae2bd6 were cherry-picked onto 464010fbe. git range-diff shows all six as equal, and the stable patch-ids of the whole range match. Between a9cae2bd6 and the landing, only docs/SESSIONS.md and docs/plans/queue.json/QUEUE.md differ. The code change is -c maintenance.auto=false -c gc.auto=0 on the fixture git helpers in four test files: packages/seat/tests/checkout.test.mjs, packages/seat/tests/working.test.mjs, packages/cli/tests/git-socket.test.mjs, and packages/cli/tests/lifecycle.test.mjs (mos-1370). No assertion changed.
