Owner live MVP 3 acceptance feedback, 2026-11-04: /chat displays a generic read error plus false empty-state text; Create project (Pomodoro Timer) returns channel-disabled. This is a system/configuration failure, not invalid user input.

Read-only evidence: deployed .53 copy 51525a31d at schema 3s; business plugins omit channel (live typed tester read revision c49b754e...). Active plugins retain usage-source transcript and harness claude-code. Console journal contains the matching channel-disabled failure. createChannelCaller refuses before dispatch when webui is absent, so the rejected create wrote no project. The factory template docs/guides/case1-business.mosaic-stack.json also omits channel. public/chat.js readError discards the specific code and its list view draws No projects yet / No threads yet after failed reads.

Authorized correction within existing MVP 3 acceptance: use existing configured tester plugins/ plugins.set API with a fresh revision, actor tester, and only channel:[cli, webui]; preserve all other plugin/config data. No owner impersonation, credential changes, global default-policy weakening, role grants, service restart, deployment, project/thread writes or signed-owner acceptance. Refusal stops the operator; no fallback to direct config editing or a user principal. Back up the business file privately first and verify typed readback plus unchanged other JSON fields.

Repo repair: explicitly enable cli+webui in the Case 1 factory starter, improve fixed chat-disabled messages and suppress false successful-empty assertions on failed reads while keeping drafts. Preserve HTTP codes, sent=false vs outcome-unknown, same-origin/SSO and channel enforcement. Meaningful failing then passing template and browser/HTTP regressions, affected package checks and independent GPT review before integration/push. Track this as blocking #797 owner acceptance; no actual owner project/task/artifact run is performed by agents.

Source repair integrated and pushed to refactor: e9271841f3. Remote readback matches e9271841f3af23bf2a72aa17d9d67a1ec5abe017; tracked checkout is clean.

Case 1 starter explicitly enables cli+webui. Console distinguishes unavailable reads from successful empty lists, explains disabled-channel refusals, preserves existing in-memory drafts through refusal/navigation/Console Refresh, and does not retry uncertain writes. I1 room-refusal state and I2 session-catalog recovery are fixed; fresh independent GPT review R2 APPROVE, no new critical/important findings.

Canonical integration checks: full WebUI 576/576 with MOSAIC_REQUIRE_EDITOR_BUILD=1 and concurrency=2, required editor rebuild passed; factory regression 8/8. Zero failures, cancellations or skips. Complete source outside append-only logs matches reviewed candidate a1ba9cd56. Original full business 307/307 evidence applies to identical business/template source. Earlier full-run timing failure and isolated passing check remain retained.

This is a source push, not deployment. Live .53 remains the previously deployed 51525a31d/schema 3s with the separate validated channel-setting repair; owner already confirmed project creation works. No new live action or owner project-to-PRD-to-task-to-reviewed-artifact acceptance was performed. Source rollout and owner acceptance remain outstanding, so this issue stays open.

Deferred nonblocking observations remain recorded: cached room history can lack an explicit stale label after prerequisite-read failure; existing in-memory drafts do not survive full browser reload; unchanged editor warning/audit observations are not dependency changes. Reports: /mnt/storage/scratch/tmp/mosaic-815-source-report.md and mosaic-815-source-review-r2.md; canonical logs: /mnt/storage/scratch/tmp/mosaic-815-r1/full-webui-canonical.log and factory-canonical.log. Broader Chat/rooms/threads UX remains a separate design discussion.
