Summary

Mid-mission tracking update for FED-M2 (no code changes).

TASKS.md updates

DEPLOY-01 (image manifest verify) → done
DEPLOY-02 (Portainer stack template, PR #485) → done
New row: DEPLOY-IMG-FIX (gateway Dockerfile pnpm-deploy fix in flight)
DEPLOY-03 / DEPLOY-04 → blocked on IMG-FIX
M2-01 (federation schema, PR #486) → needs-qa (review verdict NEEDS CHANGES; remediation subagent in flight)

Scratchpad updates

Session 20: M2 kickoff, parallel CODE + DEPLOY workstream split, Portainer access notes
Session 21: gateway image runtime bug discovery via stripped-container test (M1 release was never runtime-validated outside dev tree); M2-01 schema review findings; process notes (branch-race incident → worktree isolation rule for code-editing subagents; pr-create.sh backtick quoting workaround; Gitea registry bearer-token auth flow)

Why now
Single-writer orchestrator file updates landed pre-compaction so handoff and observers have current state.
