# isDefined

Non-nullish checking type guard for Ref.

## Usage

```ts
import { isDefined } from '@vueuse/core';

const example = ref(Math.random() ? 'example' : undefined); // Ref<string | undefined>

if (isDefined(example)) example; // Ref<string>
```
