Phase B2 of the main<->next reconciliation. After B1 (merge main→next) restores next as a forward-integration lane, its 10 in-flight commits should graduate to main via reviewed PRs, per feature-readiness. Not urgent (dragon-lin is on the 0.0.49 latest release; the next lane has no active consumers).

Commits currently on next but not main:

  • Federation #462: 838701bd get verb (#683), a3c1ab92 M3 integration coverage (#685) — a feature; needs its own review before main.
  • Installer next-lane: 94d65380 add next integration lane (#686), 940ae3cc prefer npm next lane (#688).
  • CI: c25a551c durable next publish pipeline (#687).
  • Gateway: 56787fab disable Redis consumers on local tier (#689).
  • Wizard: 0883fb91 skills-sync path (#690), b96cc798 gateway-failure ordering (#691), 495f73bf step dedup (#692), 19333154 MOSAIC_GATEWAY_SKIP_NPM_INSTALL (#698).

Recommendation: graduate the general-purpose fixes (wizard #690-692/698, gateway #689) first — low-risk, main-relevant. Federation (#462) and the next-lane infra (#686/#687/#688) each warrant a deliberate call on readiness/placement.
