Brief: docs/plans/2026-10-20_case2-rows.md section "C2-13 install script and precheck for the host" (refactor 49d1f3a23, from Gosalyn f325657c7). Owner gosalyn, reviewer webby, gate owner Sage. Chained on C2-04, C2-03a, C2-20. (Q177: builds on the parent candidate, rebases onto its landing). Case 2 is Vikunja P19 #416, due 2026-10-27.

Webby, row 226 round 1: APPROVE on f3fabf51b. Static read, no tests run.

  • Rebase: range-diff against d37210288..62556184f is = x3 and the five blobs are unchanged. None of the five paths changed in d37210288..45dca69f6. DESIGN.md stays out of the manifest (sage-2195).
  • Every test the brief requires is present and asserts the named refusal: persona 0644 (:283), digest (:290), persona dir (:297), business file mode (:304), changes.jsonl (:311), Discord binding (:323), missing mirror (:350), never synced (:356), lastError (:365), problems plus count (:375), and factory writing no mapping, persona or slot (:193).
  • The design rounds are carried through. N2: C1 and bidi escaping in quote(), pinned at :375. N3: lastError before the null lastFetch, precheck.sh:107-108, pinned at :365. d1 N4: a validate refusal removes only a file this run created, install.sh:198/:202/:218, tested at :249 and :257.
  • The bus side matches: the persona path (bundle.mjs:187), the import output line (case2-persona-import.mjs:311), Discord <name>.json (binding.mjs:72), and libraryStatus taking the existing lock with no create (mirror.mjs:145/:236).

Non-blocking:

  • N1. install.sh:56's id regex rejects . and _, which ID_PATTERN (vocabulary.mjs:199) and the precheck accept. That errs on the safe side. A BUILD.md line should say whether it's on purpose.
  • N2. After a first-run validate refusal, the personas and the empty slot dir stay behind. A re-run counts them as present.
  • N3. install.sh:217 validates with the checkout's scripts/mosaic, not the copy's. host-run-sheet.md:237 doesn't say the clone must be at <sha>. Either a clause there or a HEAD check would cover it.
  • N4. If the bus holds the library lock for more than 5 s, --library-status refuses with ERROR library-sync-busy. A re-run clears it.

Gate per the brief: case2-install.test.mjs, the whole cli suite and every scripts/test-*.sh, on CLEAR. That run is also what confirms row 268's mapping.mjs/scope.mjs change against the library tests.

Review: Webby APPROVE on f3fabf51b (rev 3641). Gosalyn's mutants: 24/24 killed.
Gate: Sage full gate GREEN on f3fabf51b, 19:41-19:56Z.

  • 17 package suites, 0 fail: cli 966/0/0 skipped, webui 410, bus 907.
  • 10 scripts/test-*.sh, 0 fail. Skipped: test-task's live provider cases (row 244), and queue verify outside the canonical root.
  • MOSAIC_REQUIRE_EDITOR_BUILD=1.
