Row 264 (T1 item 7, #1769) is built in five candidates, 264a to 264e, each with its own manifest, Duckworth round and landing (agents/sage/work/queue-264/RULINGS.md Q1, sage-2235). Design: agents/gizmoduck/work/queue-264/BUILD.md on gizmoduck/row264. Brief: docs/plans/2026-10-21_t1-sessions.md. Owner Gizmoduck, reviewer Duckworth. MVP for 10-27.

264e, surface. mosaic session CLI and the Console chooser, count and clear confirmation. Tests: T5 for the legacy single human, T7 Console half. Runs after 264a. Its clear and count controls switch on as 264c and 264d land; a control whose verb hasn't landed refuses with a reason and is never shown as working. Collaborator and share paths refuse (Q7).

Row 272 round 1 review (Scrooge): CHANGES

Candidate: manifest digest 0c3dc2edde0634ee531dadd12aedbcc372d82f3f16345f2b521c5f696271e9a6, 16 product paths from huey/row272-b23783f39 at 850b22680 on b23783f39. This was a static review: no tests or mutants ran. Execution evidence is still outstanding.

Checked

  • Old tests carry exactly the mos-1388 hunks:
    • channel.test.mjs:29-30 adds the five session verbs to both tables.
    • chat-browser.test.mjs changes the exact send body to {body, session: A}, and the shared stub gains /sessions, /operation? and handling for a cancelled answer.
    • No other existing assertion or stub line changed. Every other test change is a new test.
  • All 16 manifest sha256 values match the blobs at 850b22680, and the path set equals the packages/ diff against b23783f39. No test pins a hash of a changed path.
  • B6 reply check: every thread run binds a session, the thread default when the record names none (broker.mjs:613, :1265). Legacy rows backfill session = thread (3k-3l), so the mt.session predicate never sees a null session.
  • chat-http: the four new writes take strict keys. The tester refusal sits after the Origin and Fetch-Metadata checks. Receipts expose only the operation's own fields.
  • session.create replay is idempotent on (thread, op). CLI clear reads the operation first and writes only on operation-not-found.

B1 (blocking), packages/webui/src/public/chat.js, render catch
A deep link to an unknown session throws ChatError('session-not-found', 404). The catch treats any 403 or 404 as a thread refusal. It deletes every states key starting with id + '/' and every forms key containing id. Example: a clear on session A loses its answer, and clear:T/A keeps its op key, as the code intends. The user then opens #/chat/threads/T/sessions/<unknown uuid>. That deletes clear:T/A, the session:T create key and the drafts of every session in T. The broker still refuses a second clear, but the recovery coordinates and the drafts are gone. That breaks the brief's T7 draft and receipt isolation.
Fix: run the cleanup only for thread-level refusals (thread-not-owned, thread-not-found, access-refused), and leave session-not-found as a read error. Add a new chat-browser test: a pending clear op key and a draft on A survive a bad-session deep link. It must not change any existing assertion or stub line beyond the mos-1388 hunks.

N1 (non-blocking), packages/webui/src/chat-http.mjs, session receipt branch
A malformed clear or cancel receipt returns 503 outcome-unknown without the audit line. The other writes log line('error=outcome-unknown') before they refuse (:155-157).

N2 (non-blocking), packages/cli/src/session.mjs, clear
If --op was already used for a clear of a different session, the CLI reports "outcome unknown". That fails closed, but it hides the key reuse. Wording only.

Watch at the test run: message-filter.test replies to user using thread-message rows written by hand. If the bus suite goes red, check those rows first against the new session predicate.

Row 272 (264e) round 3 review by Scrooge: APPROVE on commit candidate 72690cae79 (parent b44332a93, request c31174).

This round is a static review of the A/B delta against round 2. It covers commit 72690cae7 only. I ran no tests. Sage's round 3 gate follows this record, per mos-1456.

  • A: in packages/cli/tests/session-cli.test.mjs, both roles in the new real-broker fixture now carry authority: {withinRole: [], crossRole: []}. That satisfies the broker.mjs:346-351 role check (two arrays, no duplicates, nothing gated) and matches the shape of the bus fixtures. The file is new in this row (absent at 5fdfd7275), so this is not an old-test change.
  • B: at packages/webui/src/public/chat.js:147, all three old?.id === id guards are now old && old.id === id. On a first render of the list route, old is null and id is undefined, so the old guard was true and the next step read old.sessions on null. The new guard short-circuits. chat.js has no other instance of the pattern.
  • The chat-browser and granted-user tests are byte-identical to b44332a93.
  • manifest.r3.txt has the same 17 paths as r2. All 17 sha256 values match the blobs at 72690cae7. Digest: f98c5b7a884ed1e5951a584227ece16d403baf62199d405aaa1981d667e9e075.
  • BUILD-LOG.md, SESSIONS.md and BUILD.md changes are appends only.

Round 2's findings stand as reviewed: B1, N1 and N2 are fixed, and the sage-3357/mos-1442 fallback stays within its ruling. Correction: my round 2 static review missed the :147 null case that Sage's gate run 1 caught.

Row 272 (264e) round 4 review by Scrooge: APPROVE on commit candidate bea0c8e1c8 (parent 72690cae7, request c31183).

This is a static review of the delta against round 3. I ran no tests myself. Huey's single-file chat-browser run in the sage-3459 slot was 19/19. Sage's five-suite gate follows this record.

  • Exactly the two mos-1461 lines changed, as Mos asked me to confirm. Outside the row packet (agents/huey/work/queue-272/BUILD.md, manifest.r4.txt), the only file in 72690cae7..bea0c8e1c is packages/webui/tests/chat-browser.test.mjs, with 2 insertions and 2 deletions. No production file changed.
  • Those two lines are the waits at :361 and :437. document.querySelector("h1") became document.querySelector(".chat-area h1"). The expected text "Thread unavailable" is unchanged, and so are the assertions after each wait.
  • The fix is correct. index.html:24 renders <h1>Control board</h1> before the chat view, so a bare h1 query always returned that heading, and the wait could never pass. chat.js:98 opens .chat-area, and chat.js:103 renders the "Thread unavailable" heading inside it.
  • Both tests are new in this row (neither exists at 5fdfd7275), so this is not an old-test change.
  • manifest.r4.txt has the same 17 paths as r3. All 17 sha256 values match the blobs at bea0c8e1c. Digest: a47ed1a23fb98c1ffe6cbcc4e7130e5c515387a2c5dc41e5ae1cbf04640d8c1b. BUILD.md is append-only.

The round 3 review (c31177) still covers the A/B fixes, and round 2 covers the rest of the row.

Landed on refactor as d33989230 (pushed 13:54:27Z 2026-10-23), with the DEFERRED entries and queue revs in 08b8831bc and 8dc132bec (pushed 13:58:35Z).

  • Sage replayed Huey's five row commits onto 1e629c892. Every non-log patch-id matches, and all 27 paths equal candidate bea0c8e1c.
  • Round 3 went red on two new chat-browser waits. They used document.querySelector("h1"), which found the shell's Control board heading. Round 4 scoped them to .chat-area h1 (mos-1460, mos-1461). Scrooge approved round 4 (comment 31184, rev 3579).
  • Sage's round 4 gate: bus 891/0, cli 941/0, webui 392/0 and business 231/0, all with 0 skipped. Plugins went 110/1. The one failure is the known base red: row 65's harness.test.mjs:192, naming compactions.mjs:232/283/287 from row 270. mos-1456 allowed it for this gate only. Row 307 (#1814, Vikunja 598) fixes it, and every gate after that needs plugins fully green. M1-M6 and F1-F4 were all killed.
  • Deferred: 272 N1 (user session verbs) and the row 270 N6 rebound to the row after 307.
  • Queue row 272 is done (rev 3581). Nothing changed on the live stack, which stays on 464010fbe at 3n.
