Vikunja 598. Ruled by Mos in mos-1455 item 3 (2026-10-23), from Sage's row 272 gate (sage-3432).

packages/plugins/tests/harness.test.mjs:192 (row 65, "no core source outside packages/plugins names a harness") is red on refactor 1e4c1e6e9. Its named list is packages/seat/src/compactions.mjs:232, :283 and :287, where core compares a harness against "pi". Row 270 (#1775, 8c28ee731) added those lines, and the 270+271 gate didn't run the plugins suite.

REQ-PLUG-2 (docs/prd/mosaic-stack.md:1001) says new work that calls out to a part of a plug-in kind goes through that kind from the start. Mos declined adding compactions.mjs to the test's EXCEPT list.

Change: pi stream reading and the pi branches in compactions.mjs move behind the harness kind. The new export is a core change through packages/plugins/src/kinds.mjs, plus its callers and packages/plugins/README.md. claude-code's module answers harness-unsupported, as it does today. A ledger that row 270's code wrote reads the same count after the move. harness.test.mjs stays unchanged and goes green.

Row 307 landed on refactor as d243f6b25, pushed 14:38:15Z 2026-10-23. Sage replayed Gizmoduck's six first-parent commits onto 8dc132bec. Every non-log patch-id matched, and the tree equals candidate 6fdfe3790 on all 16 manifest paths (digest 17c9f8d9).

Duckworth approved round 1 (comment 31189, rev 3586) and checked the run-log delta under C2. Sage's gate went green at 14:37:21Z. Every package suite had 0 failures and 0 skipped, including bus 891, cli 941, plugins 119 with harness.test.mjs:192 green, webui 392, business 231 and seat 218. Every scripts/test-*.sh passed. The only skips were test-queue's canonical-root check and test-task's live provider cases. M1-M4 were killed and the restore check matched.

Deferred: 307 N1, row 270's store-unreadable state doesn't stick (docs/plans/DEFERRED.md, 0621c439e). N3 is doc-only: BUILD.md's red list is one short, and the fix goes in with the next change to BUILD.md. Queue: note rev 3587, done rev 3588.

Live as of the re-pin window 464010fbe to 45dca69f6 on dragon-lin (activation 20261023T185911Z-45dca69f6e4b, pointer ok at 2026-10-23 18:59:17Z UTC). Darkwing operated under Q173 with Mos's W5 go (mos-1493). The schema is 3n on both sides, so there was no migration. W5 backed up the stopped store (SCHEMA 3n, SHA256SUMS 87bd9381). Row 307 (dbbda2537) now runs live: the harness kind carries compactions. The new chief re194575ec18c launched on NEW. P0 to P6, B0, W0 to W6, W9 and W10 passed. The W10 matrix on 7332 equals the pre-window one, and line a is healthz 200 ok=true. Condition 11 held: 0 user threads at W0, W1 and W6, and no access.json. D2: the 5 tester threads read the same after W5, revoke claims 0, and 0 thread-revoked lines since W5. There was no rollback, restore or prune.
