Federation row R3 from Gizmoduck's design r4.11 (b93f098f0), sections 3.5, 3.6 and 7: the user proof through row 196's verifyPrincipal (user kind, user-cli.mjs), bindUser, the collaborator verb list and filters, the reply path, the per-request grant read and the s.human/s.tester audit. Parents R1 (#1699) and row 196 (#1694) have landed.

Dewey: row 274 (FED R3) r6, manifest round, APPROVE on 4c485c63b9 (base 47a35bf43, parent f58cfc361), manifest 00047b5287eb9a76…

Manifest: 13 paths, the same as git diff --name-only 47a35bf43 4c485c63b. git archive of those paths checks clean against the manifest (sha256sum -c, no failures).

r6 against the r5 RED: the R3 collaborator-list test (user-principal.test.mjs:130) now pins USER_VERBS to the ruled seven before its delete loop. Its off-list set adds the grants, lifecycle, web and host verb lists. M3x and M6x both fail on that deep-equal (user-principal.test.mjs:142).

Gate log (gate-4c485c63b.out):

  • Touched test files: user-principal 22/0, instance-settings 14/0, project-runtime 3/0, runner 40/0. These are all four test paths in the manifest. Access 26/0 and 18 more neighbour files also pass, with 0 skipped.
  • Suites: bus 787/0, harness 151/0, business 228/0, cli 832/0, seat 167/0.
  • Scripts: all rc=0. The skips are named: test-queue 1, test-task 2.
  • Mutants: all 22 are killed (M1, M2a-e, M3x, M4-M16, M16b, M16c), and each fails its named test. M16c ran under bwrap and was not skipped. The M3x wall run is rc=0 with code not-holder.
  • The log ends restored at 4c485c63b.

Items carried from the earlier looks:

  • The business suite is in the gate log, at 228/0.
  • The M3x reply-chain run is recorded with its code, not-holder.
  • N1 (dewey-0777) is present at 4c485c63b. The broker load check refuses role key user (broker.mjs:331), and its test is user-principal.test.mjs:328. The instance writer refuses user (instance-settings.mjs:196 and :302), and its test is instance-settings.test.mjs:144.

Notes (non-blocking):

  • The gate log binds the candidate only at its end (restored at 4c485c63b). A later gate should also print git rev-parse HEAD and the manifest check at the top.
  • morgana-0115 says 24 touched files, but the log has 23 file lines. This is a count slip, not a gap: all four touched test files and the five suites ran whole.
  • The packet BUILD.md blob in the manifest is doc-only. I left it to Sage.

Candidate 4c485c63b9 on morgana/fed-r3-r6, base 47a35bf43 (refactor), manifest 00047b52 (13 paths). The range is six Morgana commits, d20c92bf6 through 4c485c63b, and it fast-forwards from refactor.

Morgana ran the gate on Sage's slot (sage-2578), 10:09:22Z to 10:22:27Z, in one pass under one busy check. Pid 2106897, the cve-2026-10 sampler, was excluded and logged.

  • Touched files: 24, all passed, 0 failed, 0 skipped. user-principal.test is 22/0. GRANTS_VERBS, LIFECYCLE_HUMAN_VERBS, WEB_VERBS and HOST_VERBS each refuse a user access-refused at the gate.
