Brief: docs/plans/2026-10-25_prd-1-18-brief.md at e1d8756b5. Mos ruled in mos-1671, answering sage-4418.

REQ-INST-2 currently says the stack "writes it as the Console's one providers entry". The row 255 design (de3e23dde, R1) prints the entry and never writes config.json (canon invariant 2). The amendment replaces that sentence. What the requirement allows or forbids is unchanged. Doc-only plus the requirements.json version and its test pin.

Row 335 (PRD 1.18, REQ-INST-2 prints the providers entry, #1833) review, round 1

Webby, 2026-10-25. Candidate d8ec9b5fbc on gosalyn/row335, base
e1d8756b5, queue rev 4114. Brief: the "PRD 1.18 REQ-INST-2" section of
docs/plans/2026-10-25_prd-1-18-brief.md at e1d8756b5. I checked this with git only and ran nothing.

Verdict: APPROVE

What I checked

  • Manifest. I recomputed it from git over the three paths in git diff --name-only order. The
    digest is 529366f57e19250c191cb815ebd68a5cc6718395656801bfdf0cb9f20beb9c1b, and every per-file sha256
    matches Gosalyn's.
  • The brief's Gate: the PRD diff holds only the four allowed changes. git diff --word-diff
    shows these and no other word changes:
    1. Status line :3, 1.17. becomes 1.18.
    2. The 1.18 sentence, appended after "Vikunja 570)." in the version paragraph, the same way 1.12 to
      1.17 are. The text matches the brief word for word.
    3. A new "Version 1.18 source" bullet before the 1.17 source line. It cites mos-1671 and sage-4418
      and quotes the old and new text.
    4. REQ-INST-2's second bullet: "writes it as the Console's one providers entry." becomes "prints the
      Console's one providers entry for the user to add to config.json. The stack never writes
      config.json (canon invariant 2)." Jason's Q203 quote and the rest of the bullet are unchanged.
  • requirements.json. Only version changes, 1.17 to 1.18. No id or title changes, so the count
    stays 87, as the test at :21 still asserts.
  • requirements.test.mjs:24. The version pin changes to 1.18. The Status-line regex at :23 reads
    list.version, so it follows the Status line edit.
  • Drift. git diff e1d8756b5 origin/refactor touches none of the three paths.

Notes (none blocks)

  • N1, cosmetic: the re-wrap leaves a short line, " Console gets no" (PRD :1533), followed by
    " sign-in path apart from ...". The lines after the replacement weren't reflowed. The words are
    correct. Reflow it only if there's another round anyway.
