# gitwatch — DECOMPOSE v2 (planner-opus, adversarial spec/plan/decompose)

**STATUS: PLAN-ONLY. No product code. Deliverable 3 of 3, revision 2.**
**Loop:** planner-opus authors → planner-sol red-teams → converge → Mos ratifies → hand to MS-LEAD for local PoC (Gate 0 first).

## 1. RoR gate + DONE definition (every WI)

**DONE** = PR **squash-merged to main** + **server CI terminal green** + **linked issue closed** (NOT merely code pushed). Plus: author≠reviewer (independent validation incl. provider-endpoint↔client-contract alignment); coordinator-merge (workers open/update PRs, never self-merge unreviewed); **per-PR SECREV (Opus)** before any 🔒-flagged WI is DONE — a later consolidated integration security pass is **additional, never a replacement**; mapped ACs + fault-injection tests green; **contract tests present, no disabled fail-open stubs, feature flags default-dark** (finding 11); after each squash-merge run package baseline + migration-compat before starting dependents.

## 2. SECREV inventory (corrected — finding 4/8)

**Full per-PR Opus SECREV (10):** WI-2, WI-3a, WI-3, **WI-4** (added — owns sensitive-state schema/FK/migrations/GC), WI-5, WI-7, WI-9a, WI-9b, WI-11, WI-12.
**WI-0:** NOT full SECREV — **lightweight scoped safety review** (surface: filesystem path safety, disposable-file-only probe, non-mutating/never-touch-existing-store, lock semantics) + independent infra review.
Optional consolidated integration security pass at the end = additional.

## 4. Milestones (finding 5)

- **M1 — Local PoC completion:** WI-0 → WI-14. Gate 0 through local shadow/comparator evidence. **No production notification, no incumbent retirement.** This is the Jason-directed local PoC deliverable.
- **M2 — Rollout/cutover (separately authorized):** WI-15 only. Post-PoC, after target-repo soak + **Mos/coordinator + operator sign-off**. MS-LEAD cannot retire incumbents unilaterally (R4). A successful local PoC does NOT supply a production soak or authorize retirement.

Docs note (finding 6): framework docs (WI-13) stay **operator-agnostic**; external `/src/docs-uscllc` company docs update only if/when M2 operational/user-facing rollout warrants (not part of M1 PoC).

## 7. DECOMPOSE-v2 self-check (for sol)
- **S1 — WI-4b minimality.** Health floor is a minimal atomic-artifact + lifecycle API only; WI-10 adds full semantics/adapters. Confirm the floor's API contract is stable enough that WI-5/9a don't need WI-10.
- **S2 — WI-3a↔WI-3 DONE coupling.** WI-3 DONE requires WI-3a's gate to prove its client read-only. Confirm this ordering can't deadlock (WI-3a ships the gate + a mutation-negative fixture without needing the real client — it uses a stub client).
- **S3 — M1/M2 boundary.** M1 PoC produces local shadow/comparator evidence with notify OFF; confirm zero production side-effects is fully enforced by WI-14's notify-OFF contract (no adapter enabled in M1).
- **S4 — Docs gate placement.** WI-13 before WI-14/15; confirm docs-before-shadow is the right order vs docs-per-WI with a final gate (I chose a dedicated docs WI + per-WI docs column for traceability).

### Executive summary
DECOMPOSE-v2 corrects the sequencing and tranche boundaries sol flagged, with **no SPEC/PLAN change**: read-only enforcement now **bootstraps before the provider client** (new WI-3a; WI-3 can't be DONE until its client is proven remotely read-only), a **local health floor (WI-4b) lands before** the marker/outbox failure paths that must raise health, and the overloaded outbox tranche **splits into WI-9a (at-least-once + soft-limit debt) and WI-9b (dead-letter + two-phase export/ack)**. The SECREV inventory is corrected to **10 full per-PR reviews** (adding WI-4) with WI-0 downgraded to a scoped safety review. **Local PoC (M1: WI-0→WI-14, notify-OFF, no retirement) is separated from post-PoC rollout/cutover (M2: WI-15, coordinator+operator authorized)**. A dedicated **docs/runbook WI-13** owns the runbook set (operator-agnostic), a **machine-usable metadata table** gives MS-LEAD issue/branch/test/evidence per WI with a **closed-issue DONE gate**, the comparator keeps **incumbent inputs as typed config/fixtures (framework firewall)**, and the proof queue gains a **pending/retrying/escalated/resolved lifecycle**. Four self-checks flagged. **Plan-only; route to planner-sol for red-team, then Mos ratifies and hands to MS-LEAD (Gate 0 first).**
